To those who would deny
the existence of a Supreme Being,
I say to them… Look no further
than your own flower garden.
Do you think it just happened that way?
Do you think with all man’s intelligence
and machines that man alone could
produce even a sunflower?
To plant a seed or to nurture a
plant is the easiest and best way
to grow nearer to the Loving
God of the Universe.
Sometimes it is difficult to understand
His mysterious ways but so far
as I am concerned, so long as I can
gaze upon the miracle of a rose
or the majesty of a tree or even
the perfection of the lowly
dandelion, then in my heart,
there is truly a living God.
